I was looking up when My life in books starts (in about half an hour, at 19:30, on bbc2), and saw a news-thingy that says ‘Indianen boos op Joan Franka’ (Native Americans angry at Joan Franka).

It’s highly likely you don’t know who Joan Franka is.. she is going to represent the Netherlands at the Eurovison Song Contest (that sounds so weird in English). And when they chose who is going to represent the Netherlands, she wore this:

So, uh, yes, you can see why they are angry. She probably doesn’t know that her performance wasn’t exactly respectful.. but how the hell did nobody else say ‘uh, this might not be a good idea’? (Or why did nobody else listen to the person that did say that?)

Anyways, I’m gonna go back to studying for a German test I have tomorrow. I dislike grammar (or rather, learning grammar this way).
